  10. "Paparazzi! Tales of Tinseltown" by Museworthy/Activision.  If you discover any

  22. The object of this game is to take photos of 24 celebrities in Tinseltown,
  23. in some sort of compromising position. The photos can (but do not have to
  24. be) sold to various publications, ranging from sleazy tabloids to
  25. well-respected magazines.
  26.  
  27. Each "day" of game time has a "day" and a "night" period. Each period gives
  28. you the chance to go to two different places in order to take photos. There
  29. are less than 14 total days, so you have to take photos on many of your
  30. trips out in order to complete your assignment. This is complicated by the
  31. fact that some of the celebrities are only in certain places at certain
  32. times on certain days. If you miss the right place and time, you miss the
  33. photo.
  34.  
  35. Adding to the complication is the fact that "exactly" the right photo must
  36. be taken of the celebrity in order to count. You may shoot up to two photos
  37. at each location you visit, which makes your film very precious. (On my
  38. system, I had an additional complication. The game is supposed to show you
  39. the photos you took so that you can choose the best one. The photos were not
  40. shown on my screen, so I had to click one and hope it was the best.)
  41.  
  42. To win this game, you must get into the following routine and follow it
  43. carefully for each day of game play:
  44.  
  45.   1. Watch all programs on all channels of the TV, once every day and once
  46.      every night (they do change). Some of the programs provide hints as to
  47.      where the celebrities will be, and when. If you miss the hint, you'll
  48.      miss the photo opportunity.
  49.   2. Check your messages, once every day and once every night (they do
  50.      change). The phone calls sometimes include tips to finding a celebrity,
  51.      advice on game play, etc.
  52.   3. When you have nothing else to do, go to Cheever's Camera Shop during
  53.      the day and to the Blue Fug at night. These places abound with hints,
  54.      tips, etc.
  55.  
  56. The following walkthrough contains the list of TV programs appearing on all
  57. channels, the list of messages on your answering machine, and the places you
  58. should go during each time period of each day. If there is no specific place
  59. you should go, it will say "Go anywhere." which means you can visit any
  60. location you like. You may find some amusing things going on at some places,
  61. though probably nothing worth shooting.

  63. Note that you also have to watch your reputation. If it gets too bad, people
  64. won't be friendly with you, won't let you in places, etc. Your reputation
  65. can be negatively affected by selling your photos at all in some cases, and
  66. by selling them to sleazier publications who misuse them. You can improve
  67. your reputation by selling certain photos to certain publications, or by
  68. selling them to the FIB as evidence.
